My wife and I have eaten here a number of times and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I went through a long stretch of ordering the Capicola sandwich to-go every week. Do yourself a favour and give this place a try!!This hidden gem of a restaurant has been on my list to eat at for the last 2 years. I live in Vancouver and am an extremely picky eater.My fiancé... and I spontaneously ate here during Sunday brunch. I could not inhale my food fast enough. Everything about this meal was just perfect. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the hollandaise did not have any citrus flavour, the lasagna funghi was not heavy or greasy! The flavours were amazing!! I only wish that my stomach had a larger capacity!!Although they describe their food as country style cooking, this is so much better than that. They use high-quality ingredients, and the food reflects it. Unlike many other Italian restaurants these days, they don’t rely on salt, oil, cream, butter, grease, and cheese to make their food tasty.I cannot wait to return over and over again to try each menu item!What a great team! Candace (sp?) is so friendly and welcoming - she really want to get to know you as a person and might I even dare say as a friend…? Richard delivers the final blow with food that keeps you coming back. I cannot remember the name of our young waitress but she was extremely friendly and attentive. Such a great experience!!read more

What a wonderful meal we had to celebrate our wedding! We picked up an order for 25 people and we were all blown away by how delicious the food was! Richard and Candice were great to work with to... give a meal that would work for all our guests. We had dietary restrictions that were deliciously accommodated. The wild mushroom lasagna was hands down the best lasagna we’ve ever had, not to mention the penne and meatballs, sautéed vegetables, and chocolate tiramisu were all wonderful as well. I look forward to eating with them again!read more
