Taormina Espresso, from Caffe D’Arte in Seattle, Washington is by far one of their best blends of espresso. It has many levels for me. One, it is the place that my wife and I had our second honeymoon and therefore holds a romantic place in my heart both bitter and sweet. A balance is always a needed ingredient in life. Too much sugar and everything gets cloying too much bitterness and well… you get my point. So the espresso is a balance between nice citrus that gives it brightness and bitterness that give rich chocolate overtones. After the last sip it lingers on the tongue giving a pleasant memory.
